Well, I hope you like this chapter. Personally, I think this is a sweet chapter, showing the love and care for one another.

Apart from Arnav's family and their close-family friends, no-one knows that they are married. Khushi's friends know that she is married but don't know to who. Also Arnav cannot say he is married yet, because he wants to Khushi to finish her last year without being stalked by the media. Hope that clears the confusion. You will see that in later chapters!

Chapter 23

Arnav and Khushi reached home. They were welcomed in by Nani, who was calmly sitting and reading a news paper.

Arnav.....you came early...I mean ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA ke darshan karne ko milhe....WOW...Khushi I am so happy that you are my daughter-in-law....what magic have you done to my work-a-holic grandson? teased Nani, where as Khushi just looked down and avoided looking at her.

NANI, Arnav replied.

You know na...I cam for you! he winked at her.

Since 5 years, there hasn't been one day when he has come early...and he is saying NANI I CAME FOR YOU...Nani thought.

Where is Akash? Asked Nani.

He is in a meeting with some clients. Why is there any problem? said Arnav.

Well yes...there is a wedding reception tonight for my friend’s son who has got married a week ago. They know you both are married, and its a small function. We have been invited so I was going to send Akash and Payal, but Payal is out with her kitty parties and Akash is busy in a meeting! said Nani.

Oh I know...why don’t you go with Khushi? It will be fun, said Nani.

Really? WOW Nani..wedding reception? You know wedding receptions are the best. They hire really good singers and then the food is also amazing. They always have jalebis, Khushi said excitedly. Arnav could see her excited face.

What else is there in a wedding reception? asked Arnav with a straight face.

Woh na...Khushi stopped because she realised that Arnav was pulling her legs.

See Nani...he teases me so much! complained Khushi.

What did I do Nani? I was just asking her....said Arnav.

Oh please both of you..stop your fight....so tell me you will go na?

No Nani..I have too much work....and I can’t go right now anywhere...said Arnav.

But...said Khushi.

No...means no! Now I have work to do so please excuse me, said Arnav.

He left the living room with a smirk on his face, and headed towards his study.

Here Khushi had a frown on her face.

Look na Nani...he never listens to me...apne mann ke malik! That rakshas raizada! said Khushi with a pouty face.

Khushi if Arnav isn’t ready to go...doesn’t mean that you can’t convince him! Nani winked at her, giving her a clear indication of what was to happen. Khushi’s cheeks grew red with the realization and she ran off to find Arnav.

Here Arnav was trying to finialise everything with his lawyer, he was on the phone talking to Mr. Garg about Sameera’s case.

I don’t care what you do but she shouldn't be in close distance to my family. This is an attempt to murder, even if it looks as an innocent act...I want you to find all the proofs against her. Also, I want you to find her. You have 24 hours to tell me the exact location.

Yes...I don’t mind what you do...just get it sorted...every news channel should know the face of Sameera Kapoor. Hmm....

Arnav then hung up the phone, and went into deep thought when he felt a hand on his right shoulder. He turned around to see Khushi, he raised his eye-brows as if in question to ask her what happened?

Umm...woh...main... stuttered Khushi.

Hmm, I am listening...said Arnav with a hint of amusement in his voice.

I mean...you have worked to much so you should relax for some time said Khushi. Mentally patting herself on the back for such a great idea.

Oh really? But I am not tired Khushi....if you want you can go to sleep, said Arnav.

But when did I say to go to sleep? I just said you know that you need to relax, relaxing could mean  to go to watch a movie or going for a drive or even going to a party....You know we should go to that party...you will get a change of atmosphere....said Khushi with an almost serious face.

Hmm..your right..I need to relax...lets go for a drive said Arnav.

Arnav you are so boring...said Khushi with a frown.

Boring? said Arnav feeling a little agitated.

Aur nahi toh kya? Every time I see you...you have a file or a mobile phone in your hand...why didn't you marry them instead? shouted Khushi but then gasped thinking through what she said. She then looked up at Arnav to see his angry glare.

Khushi...If I  married a mobile phone, you should have married a radio because you don’t stop with your bak bak, said Arnav, still giving her an angry glare. Khushi looked at him and cutely pouted but her anger vanished soon realizing that she wanted to convince Arnav of going to the wedding reception.

Ohh please Arnav...can we go to the reception...it will be so much fun! Lots of people to talk to and lots of food, said Khushi almost licking her lips as if all she could think about was food at this point. Arnav just stared at her juicy lips and smirked.

Hmm..if I go to that reception with you...what will I get? Asked Arnav.

Whatever you ask for but please can we go? Pleased Khushi.

Okay but remember that you have to do whatever I say!! reminded her Arnav of their deal. Khushi nodded.

Okay then go and get ready....said Arnav. Khushi happily skipped off when called someone for the evening’s plan.

You are in for some shock...Mrs. Raizada said Arnav and then smirked at his cute plan to get his wife to know better.

He then paced towards their bedroom. He was walking in when he saw Khushi with a blouse and petticoat on. Her back was towards him, his pagal wife always forgets to close the door. 

That would be good for the future he thought, but then shrugged off all his dirty thoughts. He saw her trying to delicately wrap around the saree and to make pleats but for some reason it wasn't working.

He walked towards her and slid his manly hands on her waist and pulled her back, making Khushi gasp with shock, applying gentle force. She closed her eyes as she knew who it was. Her back hit his chest, he saw Khushi though the mirror, with her eyes closed and her chest heaving up and down. She looked nothing less then a nymph, a pure seductress which descended from heaven just to lure him in with her charms. He seductively traced his hands on the her bare back, with his other hand sliding on her  navel. 

He took the saree from her hand and began to tuck it in her waist, his hands lingering on there for longer than needed. He wrapped it around her, slowly, making her moan slightly with his passionate touch. He then made pleats with her saree and slowly tucked it in her waist. He could feel her not breathing as she tucked in her tummy. He then wrapped the almost see-through saree and pinned it on her shoulder. He then turned her around and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

She opened her eyes to see his. In that instant, many promises were made to stay together and to love forever.

You look gorgeous Mrs. Raizada said Arnav with a smirk. 

He then brought her closer and brought his mouth to her ears and whispered in her ears. 

From now on, only I have the right to dress you in a saree. That is an added benefit for marrying someone in the fashion industry, said Arnav making Khushi smile and blush. She leaned in closer to her husband and gave him a quick peck on the cheek and ran downstairs with her saree. 

Arnav stood there shocked. His hand rose to his cheek and he smiled. 

She was one heck of a woman! he thought.
