Chapter 19

Umm....Akash...tum sab ghar jao, You have been here since a long time said Arnav.

But bhai....we should be here....Akash was cut off by Arnav.

No..you go home. Look at both Payal and Anjali...go home with them plus you all have been here since last night and it looks like you haven’t even eaten anything. Go and get some rest. Khushi you go with them as well, ordered Arnav.

No, I will stay with you said Khushi.

Okay fine, but Akash you go home.

Umm..okay but please let me know if anything happens said Akash.

We will let you know said Arnav.

Akash, Payal and Anjali left for home while Khushi and Arnav grabbed two chairs and sat beside one another outside the I.C.U. They were waiting for Nani to become conscious again. Hours passed and their worries were increasing. They sat next to each other. They didn't know when they slept and when Khushi rested her head on Arnav's shoulder and when Arnav himself had rested himself against Khushi by pulling her waist towards him.

They only knew when the nurse jerked them a little to wake up. Khushi, Arnav opened their eyes and looked at each other and then distanced themselves from each other as they just felt awkward.

Yes nurse...said Khushi.

Umm....Woh the Ms. Raizada in the I.C.U has regained consciousness. She is now awake and you can go and see her, but please do not stress her out in any circumstances.

Yes..nurse replied Arnav.

Arnav and Khushi left the nurse and cautiously entered the I.C.U to see Nani’s eyes open. They both went either side of the bed she lay on. They kneeled down beside her.

Bete, but she was cut off my Khushi.

Nahi Nani...just relax....we are here with you na....you shouldn't stress yourself at all. You are weak at this point na Nani, said Khushi lovingly.

Yes...Nani..she is correct, said Arnav.

When I have both my children with me...then why do I need to worry about anything? Nani said to both of them. She then stroked their cheeks softly.

Sorry for ruining your honeymoon. She said finally guilty.

Nani...we had to come back in 2 days anyways. So it is no problem aur waise bhi we will go some other time when you are fully well....kyun? she winked at Nani to lighten up her mood but Arnav was just staring at her with eyes nearly popping out of his sockets.

Badmash....Nani said and she pulled her cheeks.

Arnav cleared his throat and Khushi and Nani looked at Arnav.

Umm...I will go and inform Akash that you are okay now saying that Arnav left through the door.

Waise Nani how did this happen because I am sure I said to the servants to make you healthy food then how did this happen? You did eat healthy food didn't you? asked Khushi.

Nani let out a sigh.

I would have beta...actually listened to you and had that healthy food because your recipes are tasty even when it is healthy. But a family friend came over to stay and well she made me food and well Akash, Payal actually told her that I have certain guide line to food, but then she looked in tears. 

I thought that it wouldn’t matter much if I just had it once but then she kept regularly making unhealthy food and then I constantly ate it because I didn't want her to be upset. Then Payal and Akash had made a plan to go to picnic so we were going and that's when I got the heart attack.

Nani you should have been careful...what if something happened to you. Arnav was so worried about you and that girl should have understood that you couldn’t have things like that. Anyway who was this girl? asked Khushi.

Oh she was this very old family friend’s daughter..but she was always spoilt and cared about her career. To be honest even I don’t like her but I couldn’t be rude. 

She said she came especially to visit me to India and well I just couldn’t chuck her out. Arnav hates her to the core. They were in love in college but then...Nani’s face turned pale.

What was her name...Nani? asked Khushi.

Arnav was just returning from his quick phone call to Akash and was about to enter the I.C.U again when he heard Khushi ask Nani what happened to her diet. He froze in his steps when he heard Nani talking about a family friend, an old family friend. Then she talked about how he hated her and how they were in love when they were in college. He instantly knew who had done this – Who had been responsible for Nani’s health? Nani just voiced his thoughts out.

It was indeed Sameera. He never knew that she would stoop down to this level to take revenge from him.

I knew there was something fishy, Sameera Kapoor had messed with the Arnav Singh Raizada now she will see what hell really is he thought.

He then stepped inside the room to be greeted by Nani.

I have just spoken to Akash, he said that they are coming to see you said Arnav.

Oh that's great, said Nani.

Now you two go home and freshen up, you have just come travelling and you haven’t even been home yet. There is no need to stress i am fine  now.

Hmm...okay said Arnav

Bye Nani...see you in the evening.....and they both left.

They left together and Khushi wanted to tell Arnav what happened.

Arnav....there is someone who is behind Nani’s health and that is - 

Sameera...I know...I head your conversation when I was coming back he said nonchalantly.

Khushi I have spoken to the doctor, he said that Nani can be discharged in the evening.

Thats great.

Khushi....we have to stay in the mansion, I want to make sure that Nani is being properly looked after.

I understand said Khushi.

They soon reached home and shifted back to the mansion. However there were two people they would have to greet before anything else.
