Well I hope you all like this chapter because I have written it with some doubts. I don't know if my writing style suits you all because for every story my writing style changes to adapt my story. The chapter has a lot of prose and very little dialogues. 

So I hope you like it.

Chapter 17

He felt the bed dip. He sensed that she was near. The brush of her arm against his might have been innocent but was creating havoc on his senses. He could hear her soft breathing and her movements as she was trying to get comfortable. He had his eyes closed, trying to feign sleep. He knew that within seconds, he could have her underneath him begging him for release.

Did he want that? 

Ofcourse he did - but not like that. 

He knew she was innocent. 

He knew she was loving and caring. 

He knew that she felt the desire too.

But by giving into their desires, it would be rushing in to something that both would be uncomfortable with in the end. It could potentially ruin their relationship.

He knew that their marriage was a forced one. 

He knew that both of them needed space. 

He didn't want her to give in and regret it later and he didn't want her to give up on her life just because she was married to him. All the women that he had been with were too hung up on their careers and would do anything to achieve them - even if it meant sleeping with the CEO's of the companies. He had seen them wearing clothes that revealed more that they concealed. The brush of the breast against the arm looked all too innocent but their intentions were filled with dark thoughts that could only ruin you, if you didn't watch your back.

He didn't want his Khushi to be like these models. He wanted her to follow her dreams. He would help her achieve that if she needed it. She was truly innocent. He had seen that in her eyes when she caught him and Shanaya in his office. He had seen the raw desire in her eyes as well as the hurt and the pain that she must had had to go through. He knew that she sticks to her morals and even if this was a forced marriage - she would treat it as a real one.

The woman sleeping beside him had to be dealt with care. She was fragile and so was her heart. He knew if he had given in to his lust then he would rip her apart and even tamper with her soul. He would do it the right way. He would love her like his - like he loved his Di, his Nani and his family. He would give her enough love that her heart would burst out. He would give her enough love that she couldn't possibly imagine.

He thought about what happened a few days ago in the en-suite. Her luscious curves and her gorgeous navel were enticing him. He was about to go to her, grab her by the waist and slam her against the wall and bring her to ecstasy over and over again. He would hear her moan his ears and the touch of her arms against his body. Her legs wrapped around his waist while his hands trailing from her back to her derriere. How there bodies would rub together and create friction. However before he could move he had seen the panic clouding her eyes. He had then noticed her running to grab the towel. He then immediately turned around avoiding her. He didn't want her to be more embarrassed than she already was. He had then known that she was not confident about her body. Of course she wasn't - she was a virgin! 

This meant that she was innocent and had to be taken care of rather than just rushing into the physical intimacy. He had to take the process gradually rather than rush into it because with her it wouldn't be meaningless sex, it would be making love, unlike those models. With her he would have to think about her pleasure before his, making sure that she was comfortable first with their intimacy but first they had to get close to each other. Trust each other. Thats why being friends had been good. They were building trust for one another.

He was always attracted to her. He admits that now, even on their first night. That was why he wanted to place distance between them in the first place. His actions were controlled by his mind, not his heart. However things had changed since the day he saw the raw pain in her eyes. He couldn't see her in pain. His heart tore when she ran out of the office like that. He wanted to go behind her and soothe her pain but he realised that he was behind her pain. Her desire to be loved and to be cherished. She would be, but even more than she imagined. She would be his, in every way possible. She would be taken care of. However all this would happen slowly and gradually.

A small smile was etched. Arnav Singh Raizada had finally realised the importance of someone. They had to spend a life-time together. This would not be a marriage of convenience. They would make this marriage work - even if it was a forced one in the beginning.

He opened his eyes to his wife. Yes - that is what she was. His wife, his companion. He had already seen the  care for his family. She was always happy when talking to Payal, Anjali, Nani and Akash. It was like she had become a part of them. He saw her shiver and pulling the quilt closer to her. A strong hand nestled her against him. She was now partially lying on him, her face buried against his neck. Her chest against his chest. His hand on her waist - keeping her a prisoner against him. He felt her snuggle closer and cuddle more into him. Her silky hair fanned out.

However, he did have other things to be worried about. He received a message from Sameera this morning stating that 'I am back baby! See you soon!'.

What could that mean?

Was she really back?

He looked at Khushi and pulled her closer. He would protect her from everyone. He closed his eyes and savored her touch. This is how close he could ever get close to her for now. This wasn't their real honeymoon but he would make sure that he would arrange another but on his terms. He smiled thinking of her reaction. This was bliss. He closed his eyes and soon sleep overtook him.

The morning rays of sunshine hit Arnav’s eyes and he saw the most captivating sight ever possible. He looked at Khushi who snuggled onto him so closely, looking so cute while she was sleeping. Her tresses were disturbing her sleep, he carefully placed her hair behind her ears so she would be no more disturbed. He then carefully slid off the bed and left Khushi sleeping. Soon Khushi was awake and went to order breakfast.

Days passed them visiting new sights around Rome and together discussing architecture. They were sometimes so busy in admiring their likes about the architecture that they would forget what the time was. It was now the 5th day of the honeymoon, they had gotten really used to each other especially like friends. In the nights, they would cuddle up and at the day they would enjoy being them just themselves and nothing else.

It was this morning when Arnav received the treacherous call from India.

Arnav had picked up the phone.

It was from Akash.

Bhai....you need to come back now...said Akash.

What happened Akash...you sound awful. Arnav said.

Bhai...Nani has had a heart attack.
