Chapter 2

She knew that she shouldn't tempt the devil. She did not have one ounce of doubt that he would make her life a living hell, if she didn't listen to him. However did she care? NOO-Yes, Maybe. 

The sangeet ended on a smooth note. As predicted the Gupta family stole the show, mainly because of Khushi's dancing. But lets be honest, it was mainly due to that Lard Governor. It was 12 am. The stars shone bright, laughing at the plight of Miss. Khushi Kumari Gupta. Her heart was beating to fast for her own good. The only thoughts in her mind was what was that Lard Governor going to make her do. Throughout the Sangeet, he was giving her smirks and teasing glances. 

Will he make her do the photo-shoot again?

Or maybe some sort of dictation?

Or standing greeting his clients in the parking lot?

Whatever it was, she decided that she was going to face him head on. She wasn't a weak little coward, who got afraid at every turn. Well now she isn't. She would face him and all his orders that he threw at her. Little did she know, following his orders was like giving in to deep desires of her heart.

It was morning, a beautiful day for some. However Khushi was waiting for her masters orders. It couldn't be that bad right. Suddenly the door bell rang. All her family went to the Raizada house, to fix a few dates for the rasams. However she didn't want to face him again, so she decided to remain at home. She went to open the door, and stood shocked. 

The devil himself was standing in front of her, leaning against the door frame. That sexy-greek god standing in his white-shirt, black trousers and waistcoat with his tanned Ray-Ban glasses. He looked too good to be true. Men like him - were considered a sin. Hmm..a sacred Sin. 

Khushi's heart skipped a few beat. 

Arnav: Aren't you going to invite me in?

The sexy devil spoke with his husky voice. He glanced at her, up and down. Khushi felt his gaze on her and instantly bloomed. He was checking her out, from top-to-bottom. It felt like she was practically standing naked in front of him, begging for mercy. 

Khushi: Umm...Yeah sure. 

She was flustered alright. She went to the side and let him threw the door. He entered with a smooth stance, taking off his glasses, so she could see those dark-brown orbs. He sat down on the sofa, looking like he owned the room. His gaze flickered to her. 

Arnav: So why did you not come to RM?

Khushi: I was tired...so I wanted to rest. Why did you come here?

Arnav: So I could see why you were hiding in these 4 walls - Scared?

Khushi was immediately about to protest, when she saw he raised his eye-brows at her saying "Do you really wan to challenge me on this? Because you won't win!". Even though she had no chance of winning against him, she felt that he should know...just how tough she is. 

Khushi: I am not scared!

He stood up at that inaccurate statement. Both of them knew who was lying. However everything is fair in love and war. This World War 3. Well it can be more distinguished as Miss Lucknow Vs Mr. Harvard. 

Arnav: Oh Are you Not? Good. Then I hope you remember our little deal. 

He came closer to her while she was stepping back. Soon they were against the wall, her small hands pinned under his one big hand. His right hand on her waist. He was definitely the beast - at least to her and she was more of the deer caught in head lights. He was moving hands, so sensually that it was difficult to comprehend what he was actually saying. He moved his head closer to hers. His rough cheek, rubbing her soft one, tickling her into oblivion. 

Khushi: There was no deal. I won. Fair & Square. 

Arnav: Oh really? Well I didn't see it that way. If I hadn't helped you, then we would have won. So now...finish your part of the bargain. Follow my orders for 2 weeks - actually lets make that 1 week, I am in a good mood today so don't TEMPT ME. Otherwise...it will be two weeks. 

He whispered in her ears. As he said this, his fingers parted her lips. 

Khushi: What do I have to do?

Arnav: Be my secretary 24/7. 

He looked at her, his eyes glinting with naughtiness. Some-how she felt that she dug her own grave. However, her mind was working and she readily nodded. 

Arnav: Good...I want you in my office tomorrow, sharp at 9 am. If you are late, you will be thoroughly punished. 

He left her house.
