Chapter 5

Arnav: Khushi....I am going out for some time. I have some urgent work, until then...why don't you rest?

Khushi: Okay Arnav Ji

Arnav went out while Khushi rested for some time. After 2 hours she woke up and saw a message on her phone. She opened it and saw that it was Arnav’s message.

Khushi...There is something in the bathroom. Go and take a look!

She walks in the bathroom, and sees that there is a package their on the bathroom counter. It’s a letter inside it. She opens it and starts to read it.

Dear Khushi

You must be thinking, why didn't I come back?....Don't worry I am fine!...And soon you will meet me! Mrs. Raizada there is a saree placed in the packet for you. Please wear it for me...just for me!

She opened the packet and saw that there is a saree with all the set jewellery, shoes and a silver shawl. Khushi blushed looking at the saree. It was the same saree, which they looked at the boutique and the blouse was backless. The saree did look elegant but was very revealing.

Khushi: I will definitely wear this saree for him! 

She quickly gets ready. Her phone pings, showing yet another message. 

A car is waiting for you outside.

She left the hotel and saw a sleek, Black Mercedes waiting outside the hotel. The driver came out and greeted her.

Driver: Maam...Mr. Raizada has asked me to pick you up.

Khushi: Ofcourse...let's go. 

It was a half an hour journey to the their destination. Soon they arrived. As soon as she left, the driver drove away. It was dark, but serene. She could hear the sound of the waves but could not see clearly. She started to walk towards the sound of the waves, feeling scared of the darkness but somewhere she could feel the presence of her Arnav, she could feel his cologne in the air.

Khushi: Arnav ji...where are you?

She called out, feeling scared. 

Suddenly the whole place lit up and looked magnificent. She took in the beauty of the place and at once knew that it was only Arnav Singh Raizada who can do something like this to surprise her. Everything was wooden and was romantically placed. The atmosphere was perfect with the cool breeze and the sound of the waves, just added to the intensity of the place. She felt a hand on her right shoulder and she instantly turned around. How could she not know the touch of her love? She hugged him.

Khushi: Arnav ji...yeh...sab?

Arnav: Khushi...shh! Yeh sirf tumare liye...aaj ki sham tumare naam...

He gently parted her so he could see her in the sexy saree that he had gifted her. He slowly took off her shawl just to stare at her. She was going to drive him insane tonight. She looked beautiful, utterly beautiful! She looked an angel that had descended from above but only for him. Tonight, he was going to give her surprise of her life, but he knew he should go slow and have a good time with her.

Khushi: Arnav...

Arnav: Shh...Khushi...ab chalo!

They walked towards the table, that was set. They both set down opposite each other.

Arnav: So how did my wife like her surprise?

Khushi: Your wife loved it! Thankyou for this saree...it is gorgeous!

Arnav: The saree is only looking good...because you are wearing it. (She looked down and started to blush to his complements) Let's go...we will have our dinner!

Arnav started to lay out the table with all of her favorite Punjabi food. Khushi started to eat as soon as she saw the food and almost forgot that Arnav was also sitting with her, while Arnav was just staring at her eating at such a speed. Khushi then slowed down and saw that Arnav’s food was still untouched.

Khushi: Arnav ji...why are you not eating? (He came out of his reverie)

Arnav: No you eat...I am not hungry.

Khushi: But..

Arnav: Don’t Worry Khushi...I will eat something later!...(He said that with raw desire in his eyes, looking straight at her..but Khushi could not tell by his mischievous look)

After they had finished dinner, Arnav had cleared up the table and was sitting calmly. He saw her looking at all the arrangements he had made for her. Khushi actually did not notice but there was an open wooden hut on the left side, with a bed and sofa. She was just staring at the beauty of it until...

Arnav: Khushi...(she came out her staring session)

Khushi: Hmm...

Arnav: Let's go for a walk!

Khushi: Okay...

They both got up and started to walk on the warm sand, side by side.

Khushi: Arnav ji..the water is looking so beautiful...lets walk on it. 

Arnav: Hmm...Khush, I want to say something to you today....

Khushi: What? (By this time they were standing on the edge, just when the water starts)

Arnav: I want to start a new life with you Khushi. I know we started our marriage with the 6-month contract, but I know that I have loved you from the beginning, since the day you fell in my arms in Sheesh Mahal. When I saw you on the terrace with Shyam, I was shattered and in my anger I ended up hurting you. Then you saved my life. I am really sorry Khushi...I love you a lot. Will you start a new beginning with me? 

Khushi: Arnav ji...there is no need for you to say Sorry. It was not your fault, If I was in your position, I would have done the same thing. Umm...I love you too!

Arnav felt his heart miss a beat. Those 3 words had practically lit up the night. He pulled her closer. Khushi felt her heart lighten. He loved her. That was all she needed.

Arnav: Hmm...so Mrs. Raizada...since we our beginning our marriage once more...why don't we celebrate our Suhag Raat as well? (He walks behind her and holds her from the back) Ab tum bhaag ke kaha jaogi Khushi...hmm bolo?

He started kissing her nape from the back, when suddenly Khushi had a mischievous idea. She bent down a little grabbed some water in her hand and threw it on Arnav and ran away.

Arnav: KHUSHI...ab tum nahi bachogi?

He then started to run behind her.
