 Mujhe Saans Aayi: His Sacrifice


What had happened to him?

Was this how everything would end?

No - Her Arnav ji would be fine. The doctors may have diagnosed him wrong.
Her Arnav ji would just be fine. It didn't matter what everyone said about him. 


Saans me teri saans mili toh mujhe saans aayi

Mujhe saans aayi, Mujhe saans aayi



Rooh ne chhu li jism ki khushboo tu jo paas aayi


Tu jo paas aayi, tu jo paas aayi



Khushi sat by the hospital bed, taking his hand in her hands, rubbing them together to create heat. A tear dropped from her eye-lids on the white bed-sheets. She placed her head on his heart, and kissed him gently there. 

Her love would bring him back. 

He would have to come back for her love. 

He would never leave her alone in this cruel world. 


Saans me teri saans mili toh mujhe saans aayi

Mujhe saans aayi, Mujhe saans aayi



Kab tak hosh sambhale koi


Hosh ude toh ud jaane do





He was her savior, - her angel.

She needed him - just him. No-one else mattered at the moment. 

The 3 special words held no meaning. 

He had risked his life again to save hers.


Dil kab seedhi raah chala hai

Raah mude toh mud jaane do



Tere khayal me doob ke aksar achhi lagi tanhaai


Saans me teri saans mili toh mujhe saans aayi


Mujhe saans aayi, Mujhe saans aayi




He had risked his breath to give her the oxygen she needed. 

That was enough for her. 

His love was - precious. 

She never understood him, but today she knew that if he didn't get his breath back today, she would be breathless.


Raat teri baahon me kate toh

Subah badi halki lagti hai



Aankh me rehne lage ho kya tum


Kyu chhalki chhalki lagti hai



By saving Khushi from Shyam, he had inflicted pain on himself. Shyam had finally taken the revenge from him. When he was saving khushi, from falling off the cliff, Shyam had attacked him from behind, ending all the games. Little did he know that love never dies. 

 He had sacrificed his life for her.

 Was that not love?

The beeping of the machine alerted her. 

He was back. He was breathing. 

Mujhko phir se chhu ke bolo

Meri kasam kya khaai



Saans me teri saans mili toh mujhe saans aayi

Mujhe saans aayi, Mujhe saans aayi



Rooh ne chhu li jism ki khushboo tu jo paas aayi


Tu jo paas aayi, tu jo paas aayi...



She finally got her breath back. 

Her Arnav ji was back - with her forever.

She saw him - open his eyes, and look at her with love. 

She was not aware of anything else. It was just him and her. 

She soon called the doctors and they said that it was a miracle that he was a live. 

And she only knew one thing - she got her breath only because he got his breath.
