Honeymoon With The Raizada's: Chapter 2

Chapter 2

(Hotel Room)

Arnav moved closer and leaned in put his chin on her shoulder and slid his left hand underneath her pallu so it was lying on her tummy. He gently squeezed her waist which made her close her eyes.

Khushi: Arnav please... (A light pink blush formed and he pulled away automatically not wanting to highten her senses anyfurther while she still had her eyes closed and he took two steps back)

Arnav: Khushi ...what did I do? (He said sternly trying to keep a straight face. Khushi opens her eyes and turns around)

Khushi: (Did i imagine all of this? No...Arnav can't do this...I mean...we have never...he has never ever initiated anything. Plus...why will he? I am not even beautiful...) 

Arnav who was looking at her now was intently watching her and was trying hard not to laugh at his innocent wife. She was an open book, and he could read her well. All her doubts would be answered tonight. 

Arnav: (Mrs. Raizada...we have a lot to do...a lot of time has been wasted)

Khushi: Arnav ji...I am hungry...can we please get some breakfast?

Arnav: When are you not hungry Khushi? But yes...lets go...actually on second thoughts...you go...I will come down in a few minutes. 

Khushi: No I will wait for you...here...! (Khushi said adamantly)

Arnav: Why? Can you stay even some moments without me?

Khushi: (Khushi covers his mouth by her hand) Please don't talk about distances...I cannot bear losing you again. 

Khushi's eyes filled with tears when she thought of how Arnav nearly was taken away from her. How he was kidnapped? And she thought about his confession on the phone...when he said "I Love You". 

When he uttered those 3 words, she knew something was wrong. Call it female intuition or the love for a husband, she had been worried. Arnav looked at her reminiscing on those memories, which had been scarred on their precious hearts forever. He did not want to make Khushi go through that again. So he did what he thought best. He simply diverted her attention.  

Arnav: Okay I am coming...you wait here... (He goes to bathroom)

He puts on Khushi’s favourite Cologne and walks out.

Arnav: Come..lets go wifey...(He offers her his hand)

Khushi: Yes...chalo!!

While they were walking, Khushi notices that Arnav was wearing her favourite perfume that just drives her insane because her husband smells so heavenly.

Khushi: (Why did he only have to wear this perfume? Did he not find anything else to wear?) Arnav ji...please don't wear this perfume..!

Arnav: Why Mrs. Raizada...? Did you not like it?

Khushi: I used to like...it. But now I am not a fan of it. 

Arnav: Kyun?

Khushi: Arnav ji...kyun ka koi jawab nahi hota....ab band kariye apni enquiry commission! (He smirks at her)

Arnav: (Mujhe pata hai Khushi...ki tumhe yeh perfume kyun nahi pasand par yeh toh main chahta hun...aur main tumhe bhi yeh khushi dena chahta hun par...tumhe bas thoda intezaar karna hoga)

Arnav and Khushi went to have breakfast downstairs. Khushi wanted to eat hot, sweet jalebi's to calm herself down and all these sensations that are troubling her since morning. 

They eat their breakfast in silence. After they have finished...their breakfast, Arnav notices that there is hot, sticky substance stuck on Khushi’s lips. He leans over the table and brushes his thumb gently over her lips to remove the sweet jalebi stain. He slowly caresses the corner of her lip. Khushi reacts by closing her eyes to his sensous touch. He pulls back and she opens her eyes. He puts his finger in his mouth.

Arnav: Hmm...you are right those Jalebi's are REALLY NICE. 

Khushi turns bright red and tries to divert the topic...

Khushi: Arnav ji...can we please go out some place...! I don't want to stay in this hotel. I have heard from jiji that Nainitaal is beautiful...and last time...we missed the beauty of it...

Arnav looked at Khushi, and reflected on the words that she had just uttered. He knew what she was thinking. Before marriage they had come here, and unfortunately because of Khushi's mad brain, the petrol in the car had finished and they had spent the night in Nainitaal. However at that point a drama had unfolded of how they were married and were forced to spend the suhag raat together. 

How he wished that he could turn back time and make all of Khushi's words true. If he could just do that, then they would be married and he would have spent his first night there in Nainitaal with the women he cherished the most. 

But he knew...the only way to forget these harsh memories is to make new ones. The new memories will be engraved on their hearts, reducing their pain altogether. He knew he had to do this, For Khushi and himself.

Arnav: Okay Khushi...where do you want to go?

Khushi: Please can we go and see a movie...! (Khushi said with hopes in her eyes)

Arnav: We can...but I get to choose the movie...and we will NOT watch a Salman Khan movie. 

Khushi was devastated by the turn of events. She felt that she could turn the stubborn man's decision around. However this did not seem likely, well not definitely in this life. 

Khushi: Okay...!

Arnav: Cool...(He gets a naughty idea) Lets go and watch this movie!!

Khushi: (What happened to him suddenly? And why is he suddenly smirking at me, like i am some twit! Khushi this Arnav Singh Raizada...you may never understand him. Unpredictable should be his middle name.)

Arnav: Okay...Khushi...go and freshen up...and meet me...down in 15 minutes. 

Khushi: Okay...

Arnav makes a quick call to someone.

Arnav: Are all the arrangements ready?

Someone: Yes everything is ready according to your wishes SIR. 

Arnav: Good...we will come in the evening. 

Someone: Okay Sir..

Arnav: (Mrs. Raizada...you are in for a SHOCK) He smirks....
